Welcome to VNC Pocket Office v2.1 instruction manual. Here you will be taken through the steps required to connect to your remote computer.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. 1.iphone with internet connection available OR iPhone /iPod Touch with a WiFi connection.

  2. 2.A remote computer (PC/MAC) connected to the internet or Local LAN/WLAN running a VNC server.

  3. 3.The IP address or Host name of the remote computer and the port address and VNC password.

Connection List Screen

When the program starts you are taken to the Connection screen. Here you will find 2 default entries Office & Home ( Goto Quick setup for use of the default entries).

Using/editing existing entries

To use or edit an existing entry touch the entry from the list to go to the setup and connect screen

Adding entries

There can be up to 10 entries in version 2.1. Touching “Add new connection” will take you to the setup & connection screen for user definition of a new entry. If there are already 10 entries then you must either delete one or edit one.

Deleting existing entries

Touch the Edit List button to enter into list edit mode. An edit symbol will appear on the left of the text. Touch the edit symbol on the entry you wish to delete, touch the delete button which appears to delete the entry or the Done button to exit edit.

On this screen are 15 items to configure.

1. Connection Name

 

You can choose any Connection Name, it’s for identification purposes only. Any character is permissible.

There is no default connection name.
